Thyme honey comes from Zogaj, a part of Tropoja nestled in little-known Pac. And BOY are they proud of their honey. One local guy told me that Pac makes the best honey in the world, as attested to by the fact that during WWII, Hitler used to send a private plane to Zogaj, just to pick up a supply of honey. Now, you and I might doubt the wisdom of claiming Hitler as your #1 product spokesperson, but then again – how wackily innocent and bizarre! It’s so weird and stupid, it might just be true.
