Villa Gjecaj. Owners Petrit & Aida Gjecaj, run by Petrit’s parents Ndoc & Lule. It is just a coincidence, but our favorite house happens to be the first one off the path from Valbona. Why do we like it? Be-cause: The house is beautiful with a nice private garden which is lush and green and […]

Our pick for nicest guesthouse in Valbona Center. Big, old and authentic, but with new bathrooms and beds. The restaurant is small and basic, but set back next to a little stream. Very pretty. Host Kelmend is also very active in the community, working to give locals a voice with government.
