Kaca or Rose Hips are the dried fruit of wild dog-roses (Rosa canina) and are another one of the common “oh yes those are VERY good for you” things which people here commonly stockpile. Their main health benefit seems to be due to their being packed with vitamin C, although I suspect that people here mainly just like the taste of the tea, which remains (in my experience) the popular 3rd runner-up to order in a cafe if you don’t want coffee, raki or caj mali.
