Hotel Description

Arben Selimaj runs a very friendly and welcoming guesthouse in a beautiful and quiet location nearby the Valbona river. It is surrounded by an overwhelming decor of mountains, which you will be able to enjoy all by yourself as there are no other guesthouses – or houses – near this spot. The family members all speak really good English as well as German. You’ll be enjoying the lovely traditional food made by Ferije with local and homegrown ingredients. The guesthouse has three dorm rooms with space for 20 people in total (€20 per person per night including four meals! Making it absolutely the best food value in the whole Valbona valley), and a large camping spot (€3 per person per night for just the spot or €10  including four meals).  They are constructing a new well-equiped kitchen as well as two new bathrooms which should be finished somewhere by the end of the summer (2017). Arben Selimaj also works as a taxi driver, and will be able to drop you of at the beginning of the trailhead to Theth, Fierze or wherever else in the valley.

    "This is defenetly the BEST PLACE"
    Just read the description. Everything is correct. Furthermore I had a foodpoisening from a restaurant at the Trail to Teth. They HELPED me SO MUCH as if I was their own family and just knew these people for a couple of hours. They helped me with everything from docter to local 'hospital' and drove me to the big hospital down the mountain and back. For 2days their was always somebody taking care of me. SO GREATFULL 💝💝💝💝

    "Best accomodation ever"
    Arben and Farije make you feel so welcome you don't really want to leave again. They take care of you like you belong to their family, the food is insanely good, fresh and more than enough! There's soup, byrek, salad, fish, meat and so much more every night, a big breakfast every morning and enough food to take as a lunch bag during a day of hiking. The location is beautiful! And even though the power went out in the evening we weren't cold because of a comfy fire in the common room/dining area and biiiiig bedding while sleeping. Most travelers only stay for the night and take off the next day, we stayed for two nights and I will stay longer the next time I am there. Farije said to us when we hugged her goodbye and told her we'd be back "Yes, you and your five children"...
